We're Jenn & Ryan
We’re a husband-and-wife team from Lisburn with three kids and a shared love for seeing the world. We’ve travelled together for over 20 years, and bringing our children along has only made those adventures richer. From watching penguins waddle past us on Australia’s Phillip Island to chasing through the towers of the Alhambra, these are the moments we’ll never forget.

We also know that travelling with kids takes a little more planning - from car seats to snacks to the tenth “are we nearly there yet?” It can feel overwhelming if you’re doing it alone, but with the right preparation, it’s absolutely worth it.

Our passion for travel led us to found Make Travel Happen, and we’ve spent the last few years helping families create incredible bucket-list trips. We created the Family Adventure Society after recognising that so many families love the idea of something a bit different from the usual beach holiday but don’t know where to begin.
